As an IT Support Technician professional, you have solid work experience, work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support to a large number of staff.

Responsibilities:

-Provide exceptional IT service to a large number of mobile consultants and support staff
-Deploy, support and maintain a fleet of laptops, workstations, handheld devices and peripherals
-Resolve trouble tickets as received from help desk
-Set up and support of conference room audio visual equipment
-Telephone system support with external service providers
-Monitor and resolve issues with backup/recovery operations
-Develop and maintain written instructional materials
-Communicate and instruct with novice and expert computer users relative to hardware and software support issues
-Coordinate with other IT staff and users to identify the need for new systems and/or recommend enhancements to improve IT operations

Experience and Qualifications Required:

-Diploma in Computer or IT related area of study or equivalent
-2 – 5 years providing desktop support
-Microsoft Certifications are a definite asset
-Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
-Working knowledge of Win Image an asset
-Good organizational, time management skills and the ability to multi task
-Experience supporting Dell Latitude, Optiplex, and Precision hardware would be an advantage
-Experience with various handheld devices
-Experience with Symantec Backup Exec
-Working knowledge of Microsoft server family of products
-Experience with Sophos Anti-Virus, Dell OpenManage Systems Management are an asset
