Job Setting: Oil Company – working in Heavy Oil Area.

Job Description:
The field production operator candidate will have minimum of 1 – 3 years experience in oilfield operations, along with a general knowledge of well site production equipment. In addition, you will have a Grade 12 education or equivalent, hold a valid Class 5 Operator’s License and an excellent safety record and are willing to work on a 10 hour shift rotation. Solid Computer skills are necessary. You will have strong communication, organizational and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic are required. You are highly motivated, self managed, have the ability to handle new tasks or assignments and get things done right the first time.

Reporting to the area Foreman, the responsibilities of the Field Operators include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Display thorough knowledge of corporate safety policies and goals
- Work a 8 day, 6 off schedule;
- Start up and shut down of all well site equipment without supervision by employing the company safety procedures;
- Ability to analyze production / cost data and make appropriate decisions or recommendations;
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing;
- Able to monitor and implement cost reduction ideas;
- Required to maintain all regulatory courses;
