Reporting directly to the Investment Data Manager, this role is responsible for a variety of functions relating to the day-to-day administration of key data applications, including the verification, validation and maintenance of investment related data, as well as assisting in the new data and reporting initiatives. You will also provide support to the team leads in the execution of deliverables such as completion of day-to-day operational activities, report generation, addressing ad hoc queries from data users, and participating in project related to invest data. Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily analytical reviews to validate data across key systems using various market data sources to ensure complete and accurate reports;
- Conduct daily maintenance of key records including portfolios, benchmarks, coding tables, system parameters, etc;
- Initiate immediate action to resolve errors and exceptions that impact the quality and availability of data within the key data systems;
- Aid in the design and implementation of analytical reports to support downstream users and produce these reports as required;
- Ensure adherence to scheduling, processing, and job execution requirements to ensure timely availability of data to downstream systems and reports.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other relevant analytical subject;
- Post graduate training in financial markets or investments (Canadian Securities Course, CFA, etc.);
- Experience in a similar role with exposure to investment operations and/or data management and reporting;
- Knowledge of market data sources;
- Understanding of broad range of security types including derivatives and associated data;
- Please note that the successful candidate will be required to learn SQL, Eagle PACE, as well as other relevant applications and skills.
