Senior Web Interface Developer to join our Web Services Team. You’ll work collaboratively with Creative, Technology and Strategy teams to develop and implement designs technically according to creative and brand direction, across a variety of platforms and frameworks.

The Web Interface Developer is responsible for supporting the College Website, Staff Intranet, and eMarketing Campaigns (including coding email campaigns). Responsibilities include ensuring that all college based websites and applications have consistent navigation and styles, as well as an adherence to current standards—Usability, UX, Web, Accessibility, Marketing and Brand.

Education and Experience:
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, or related equivalencies
• A minimum of 5 years occupational experience working as a Web Interface Developer with a demonstrated portfolio of presentation layer work
• At least 5 years experience hand-coding XHTML, JavaScript and CSS (2)
• At least 5 years working knowledge of frameworks used to develop dynamic web pages (ASP, ASP.Net, JSP, .Net)
• Expertise developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, email clients, etc.
• Experience coding to browser and industry standards (W3C Markup and CSS Validation)
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems

• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks across multiple projects
