Site Quality Inspector Job Description Sample 1:

Job Setting: A company that fabricate both steel & precast concrete products and perform specialty construction services.

Due to ongoing growth in our Company, we are adding a Site Quality Inspector to work with the Concrete division.

Responsibilities:

Proactively coordinate with Field Supervisors, Project Management and Quality Control to ensure conformance to project requirements;
Conduct internal field audits examining conformance to Company standards and project requirements, including; Preconstruction Planning, Practices & Procedures, Equipment, Safety Considerations, Tolerances, Quality Control, Records
Provide appropriate documentation of internal audit findings (report, drawings, pictures);
Collaborate with erection, quality control, and project management teams to ensure that any non-compliance issues are identified and that appropriate corrective action is implemented to address areas of non-conformance;
Follow up to ensure corrective action has been implemented and is sufficient – initiate adjustments if required.
Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

Completion of college or university or equivalent technical training;
Experience using MS software programs;
Previous experience in the construction industry and knowledge of standard field practices;
Previous experience in the concrete industry a definite asset;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
Good communication skills
