Job Setting: Total Body Wellness and Relaxation Spa
A total body wellness and relaxation Spa is seeking a professional Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our studio. As a Massage Therapist you will administer professional massage and body treatments to guests. You must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, posses a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in specific massage and body treatment offerings.
As a RMT with our client you must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of all guests. You must always present a professional appearance that reflects the image of the Spa.
Only Certified Registered Massage Therapists will be considered for this role. As an RMT you are expected to be flexible with your schedule, booking treatments around client’s needs. You will be responsible for the total care of your patients, up to and including creating proper receipt for insurance purposes as well as contacting and writing appropriate letters to insurance if needed.
Previous Spa experience will be considered a main asset. Experience in reflexology, reiki or other alternative therapies as well as pregnancy and cranial sacral massage also considered an asset.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
Registered massage therapist with provincial certification
3-5 years practical experience

Job Setting: Spa
An RMT is needed to provide therapy through massage and assist our clients in achieving overall physical, mental and emotional well-being. Must be licensed and have previous experience in Registered Massage.
Responsibilities:
- To provide massage treatments to clients
- Meet with clients to discuss their personal needs
- Build relationships with clients to assure continued success of treatment
- Make recommendations on course of treatments for clients
- Keep up-to-date on new techniques by attending conferences, tradeshows and training
- Make recommendations on the treatments offered and the overall functioning of the spa
- Ensure proper safety and sanitary conditions are followed when treating clients
- Perform other duties as required by Spa Manager
