Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency and presentation for the food served in the restaurant and banquet facilities
- Management of kitchen operations of the hotel including: staffing, scheduling, purchasing, food cost control and administration
- Administer quality assurance program
- Participate in the development of new recipes, menus and programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef and/ or Kitchen Manager
- Culinary Arts Degree
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
- Experience in executing consistent and high quality menu items
- High-level training and mentorship skills
- Management level food safety
- First Aid/CPR
- Extremely well organized and excel at multi-tasking
- Thrive under pressure
- Hands on management skills and an outgoing personality
