Daycare Director Job Description Sample 1:
A community based childcare center, is seeking a Daycare Director. The daycare program provides quality childcare for children ages 18 months to 10 years. Children learn through exploration and reflection with their environment.
Staff work in a team-teaching environment providing child-directed programming, with a staff teaching team of 10, plus substitutes, a dedicated cook and cleaner. Our center boast attractive facilities, with fantastic playgrounds, access to metro transit for field trips, and great neighborhoods and parks for walking/playing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent Administration, Leadership, Communication and People Skills. Candidates must have a Level 2 or 3 ECE classification and current First Aid training. Candidates will be required to obtain clearance on both Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record checks. Previous Director/Assistant Director experience will be considered an asset.
