Central Booking Clerk Job Description Sample 1:
Primary responsibilities include booking, re-scheduling, calling proactively for to fill last minute cancellations, dealing with confirmations of appointments and other duties as assigned and respond professionally and compassionately to general inquiry calls. This is a full-time position of 37.50 hours per week Monday-Saturday on a rotating tour band of 9:30 am or 11:30 am start times with a day off during the week if a Saturday shift is worked. Sunday shifts (half days) are possible but not required immediately.
Qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication skills with some knowledge of examination preparations and the ability to work effectively and efficiently. A medical background and call-centre experience will be considered an asset.
