Central Rig Administrator Job Description Sample 1:
Central Rig Administrator for a long term contract position. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Facilitate the full and complete documentation of rig activity, accounting for materials used and assisting with communications.
- Input data from rigs and service providers, interpreting the data and ensuring that necessary documentation is conducted in the Company systems.
- Deliver a “well book” at the end of well operations consisting of reports generated from OpenWells and well schematics from Profile.
- Deliver a report to foremen for approval detailing materials ordered, installed, returned and transferred on wells.
- Coordinate with Network Administrators, Engineers, and Foremen to make entries in accounting systems providing accurate and timely accounting for well costs.
- Update logistics plans for assigned wells taking into consideration actual well activity and historic lead times for service providers and materials.
- Follow foreman direction, contacting service providers with direction to wells and arrival times.
ESSENTIAL:
- Must be able to work for any employer in Canada without visa sponsorship.
- Working knowledge of rig activities including drilling, completions and well intervention.
- Working knowledge of logistics in remote areas.
- Great attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and deliver results according to deadlines.
- Excellent understanding of computer software and able to multi-task.
- Has worked with Landmark suite (OpenWells, Profile, iWellfile and Data Analyzer).
